I started Holistic Havannah in June 2025 with nothing but a passion for holistic self-care and a lot of late nights. From the logo to the affirmation cards in my 9 signature gift boxes, I designed every single detail myself.
What I didn’t realise back then? Being passionate isn't enough anymore. Suddenly, I had to be a photographer, videographer, editor and "hashtag phenomenon" all at once. I tried my best for seven months but the "algorithm" felt like a wall I couldn't climb. While I loved my returning customers, I felt like I wasn't reaching the people who truly needed these boxes.
Then at the beginning of this year my health took a turn. A massive flare-up knocked me for six. When the energy vanished, so did the social media content and the sales stopped with it.
The Silver Lining
My health battles are one of the very reason Holistic Havannah exists. As I get more comfortable with blogging, I plan to share more of that story. For now I’m just grateful to be back at a level where I can create again. I’ve even been working on some new products that I can’t wait to launch ✨
Why the move to Shopify?
I’ve moved here because this space finally feels aligned with my vision. I’ve designed this shop to feel like me and I’m ready to try again.
To anyone currently fighting to be heard by the NHS, my inbox is always open. I want to encourage you to prioritise your self-care so you feel strong enough to keep fighting a world where you become a number on a very long waiting list.
